JSW Paints enters into Hand Sanitizer business

JSW Paints on Thursday announced entering into sanitizers market by launching Securall hand sanitizers.

The company has received all statutory approvals, permissions and license to manufacture and market the product across markets. It is expected to roll-out its hand sanitizer brand Securall in May 2020, it said in a statement.

JSW Paint's managing director, Parth Jindal said that as part of their endeavour to promote hygiene and safe health practices in the country, they will leverage their group businesses’ retail distribution & community network to offer consumers access to a world-class product.

The company will be manufacturing the hand sanitizers at its facility at Vasind in Maharashtra. Initially it will be launched across south and west markets in 500 ML pack size.

Excecutive vice president, marketing & sales, Vinay Shroff said that this will ensure easy access of this world-class product to all their customers & business associates.

The Company said that in order to support the Securall roll-out, JSW group will leverage its retail distribution network across paints, steel & cement businesses to market this hand sanitizer to Indian consumers.

Note : Asian Paints Ltd too on May 1st launched its hand sanitizer business under the brand name, Viroprotek.
