Jio platforms is wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd, focused on next generation technologies. It provides connectivity platforms to about 388 million subscribers. Less than 2 weeks before, Facebook said it would acquire 9.9% stake in JIO platforms for ₹ 43,574 crore.
